10 years of professional performance experience as a figure skater. Extensive partnering experience as a competitive ice dancer, show skater, and coach. Performed on TV with The World of Ice Dance International on PBS, Shall We Dance on Ice on ABC, Hallmark Home & Family Channel, America’s Got Talent, season 8 on NBC and US Figure Skating National Championships on ESPN2.

ICE DANCERJoel is a 6 time National Competitor in Ice Dance. He and partner, Meghan McCullough won National medals in Novice (2003) and Junior levels (2005).
He now teaches and partners Ice Dance to all ages and levels as well as provides specialized training and choreography to other disciplines including Singles, Pairs, Synchro, Theatre on Ice and Solo Ice Dance.

SHOW SKATERJoel turned professional after US Nationals in 2008. Over the last 12 years, he has performed in over 2,000 shows. He was featured in several TV productions including America’s Got Talent season 8 (FOX), Home and Family (Hallmark), Shall We Dance on Ice (ABC), and The World of Ice Dance International (APT & PBS). Joel toured with Holiday on Ice, Royal Caribbean Cruise lines, Broadway on Ice (Bietek Productions), Ice Dance International, WiWa (Frozen Water Productions), and Ice Theatre of New York He also performed in stationary shows around the country including Aerial Ice Extreme (Woodstock Productions), Kresge Productions, and Rand Productions.

CHOREOGRAPHERJoel has over 10 years of experience of professional choreography. He has choreographed exhibition programs for US National Champions and World competitors. He directed and choreographed multiple shows and was Assistant to the choreographer for “Shall We Dance on Ice” on ABC. Amateur work includes US National Medalists (Sr. ladies and Juv Ice Dance), and International (JGP) competitors.
